Environmental issues such as ozone depletion and global climate change are big challenges in today's globe, implying that the global climate is rapidly changing. Developing countries, such as India, are particularly affected by these issues due to garbage generated by industries, households, municipal trash management, and hospital waste. Medical waste management has not received enough attention in recent decades. The problems due to medical waste is increasing exponentially as it put on dual effects, firstly pollute the environment secondly it spread the disease, which effects the health of the people as well as the eco system. So, it is necessary to assess the environmental impact of medical waste. There are many tools available to assess the environmental impacts of the medical waste.
