Two Russian state-owned corporations presented updated multiple rocket launch systems, including an improved BM-21 "Grad" and a new Smerch system. The Smerch can fire 300mm rockets up to 70km and precisely target areas with its inertial guidance system. The improved BM-21 has increased range and effectiveness over previous versions. Russia has been a leader in multiple rocket system technology and these new systems demonstrate continued improvements.
