Spanish verbs undergo inflection and conjugation according to person, number, tense, mood, and voice. There are three main verb conjugations in Spanish (-ar, -er, -ir verbs) which are classified based on the ending of the infinitive form. Spanish verbs are also marked for person (1st, 2nd, 3rd), number (singular, plural), tense (past, present, future), mood (indicative, subjunctive, imperative), and voice (active, passive). Irregular verbs and semi-regular verbs with stem changes also exist.
