1) Boy Ramasamy traveled to Varanasi to renounce the world but faced discrimination trying to get food at a Saththiram meant for Brahmins only. 2) While starving, he was advised by a Sanyasi to pretend to be a Brahmin by wearing a sacred thread, but was still rejected and pushed out. 3) The Sanyasi shared his leftover food with Ramasamy, giving him enlightenment, and directed him to read a inscription revealing the building was built by wealthy Tamil merchants despite being occupied by Brahmins.
