What is Microchipping Concerns in Youth Debate about?

Kevin wrote a blog post to share his concerns about microchipping in the UK. He acknowledges that the idea seems cool but wants a public debate before widespread adoption, given issues around data control, health effects, and security. Specifically for young people like himself who may be an early generation to get chipped. While technology exists for similar tasks, he questions if there is really need to have a strange object implanted before addressing these important considerations.
