About this document
Nitrate Sources in Idaho Groundwater by Ari-Maria Rama Haryo Tamtomo is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document analyzes sources of nitrate contamination in groundwater in Pleasant Valley, Idaho. Major ion chemistry, stable isotope ratios, and hydrogeologic data were used to identify four types of groundwater: 1) regional groundwater unaffected by canals or evaporation, with low nitrate levels; 2) shallow groundwater affected by evaporation and canal seepage, with variable nitrate levels; 3) shallow groundwater high in chloride and sulfate with high nitrate levels; and 4) canal water derived from the Sn
