This study investigates the effect of cold stratification on the germination temperature range of Pinus koraiensis seeds from two populations in northeastern China. Results indicate that cold stratification at lower temperatures (0 °C) significantly enhances germination rates at lower incubation temperatures, expanding the range of temperatures suitable for germination. The findings highlight the importance of cold stratification in improving the regeneration potential of this key temperate forest species u
