This study examines the impact of perfectionism and personal growth initiative on identity styles in emerging adulthood, involving 228 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro. Results indicate that young men exhibit higher levels of positive perfectionism and intentional behavior compared to women, while negative perfectionism is associated with a diffuse-avoidant identity style.
