Steve Jobs was an American inventor, entrepreneur and industrial designer who was the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. He helped launch the personal computer revolution with the Apple II in the 1970s and introduced the Macintosh in 1984 which used a graphical user interface. After being ousted from Apple in 1985, he founded NeXT which was later acquired by Apple in 1996, bringing him back to the company.
