What is Newfoundland Legal Aid Funding Extension about?

The Executive Council of Newfoundland and Labrador approved an amending agreement that extends the terms of an existing agreement between the province and federal government. The agreement provides continued federal funding for legal aid in Newfoundland and Labrador from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011. The Minister of Justice and Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs were authorized to sign the amending agreement on behalf of the province.
