1. During the fiscal year 2022-23, several new substations were completed across India at various voltage levels - 765kV, 400kV, 230kV, and 220kV. 2. A total of 12,000 MVA of new transformer capacity was added at the 765kV level, with 18,765 MVA added at 400kV and 1,395 MVA added at 230kV and 220kV levels. 3. The substations were executed by various agencies including government-owned Powergrid and state utilities as well as private sector developers.
