What is West Virginia about?
West Virginia runs an offense called the "5-man Open Post" that allows any of their similarly sized players to take advantage of mismatches in the post. They space the floor with five players around the 3-point arc. One action they have success with is one of the big players curling off an away screen set by the point guard at the elbow. Another action is running a double screen for a shooter out of their flex set. They are most effective when able to reverse the ball and cut and fill the floor successfully
