What is Chaplin about?

This study investigates the safety and efficacy of prone positioning in adult patients on veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV-ECMO) for respiratory failure. It found that while prone positioning was associated with an increase in oxygenation, this effect was not statistically significant and was not sustained after returning to a supine position. The intervention was deemed safe, with few complications reported, although it was used infrequently and later in the ECMO course.
