What is Hand Gesture Recognition System Overview about?

The document proposes a hand gesture recognition system that detects the number of fingers in an image. The system first detects skin color, then performs various image preprocessing steps to accurately identify separated fingers above the palm. It finds the nearest point from the contour and erodes the image based on the centroid point. After more preprocessing, the system can accurately detect and display the number of fingers to the user.
