At 22-years-old, Jillian Altenburger qualified to participate in the 2012 Olympic Swimming Trials in Nebraska. Jillian was able to make the cut by swimming at the Berkeley Aquatic Club Memorial Day Invitational Swim Meet, which was held at Rutgers University’s Sonny Werblin Recreation Center. As a member of the BAC swim team Jillian swam in heat 4 of 11 for the 200 Meter Freestyle with a qualifying time of 2:02.56 (the Omaha qualifying time was 2:03.19).
