What is The Stepping Stone about?

The Copenhagen Accord is far from the fair, ambitious and binding deal needed to prevent dangerous climate change. However, WWF believes it could become a stepping stone if countries strengthen its good elements and incorporate them into a legally binding UN deal. Key next steps include countries submitting ambitious emission targets by January 31st and progressing new funds, mechanisms and guidelines in the Accord to rebuild trust in negotiations.
