What is Jack about?

Jack lives with his poor widow mother and their cow is their only possession. Jack takes the cow to sell at the market but gets lost in the woods. He meets an old man who trades magic beans for the cow. When Jack returns home without money, his mother is angry when he produces only beans. She throws the beans out the window. That night, the beans grow into a gigantic beanstalk that reaches high into the sky. Jack climbs the beanstalk and discovers a golden castle at the top.
