The study aimed to identify Capsicum annuum landraces resistant to the plant parasitic nematode Meloidogyne enterolobii and analyze their phenotypic characteristics. Out of 90 landraces tested, 11 were confirmed resistant, with specific landraces showing consistent resistance indicators such as lower root galling and reproductive index. The findings suggest these resistant landraces could be valuable sources for developing new pepper cultivars that can withstand M. enterolobii infestations.
