This study evaluates the improvement in erection hardness and successful sexual intercourse rates in men with erectile dysfunction after increasing the dose of sildenafil citrate from 50 mg to 100 mg. Results indicate that the higher dose significantly enhances both erection hardness and the rate of successful intercourse compared to the lower dose and placebo. The findings suggest that patients should be encouraged to use 100 mg if they do not achieve satisfactory results with 50 mg.
