This study evaluates six machine learning models for forecasting PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations in Dhaka, Bangladesh, using data from three air monitoring stations between January 2016 and December 2022. The models assessed include ARIMA, ANN, ELM, ETS, NAÏVE, and TBATS, with ARIMA performing best for PM2.5 and TBATS slightly better for PM10. The findings provide valuable insights for air quality management in Dhaka, highlighting the potential of machine learning in addressing local air pollution challenges.
