This study conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of 262 dengue outbreaks reported between 1990 and 2015. The majority of outbreaks occurred in the Western Pacific region, particularly China, Singapore, and Malaysia after 2010. On average, those infected were 30 years old, 54.5% were male, 23.2% had dengue hemorrhagic fever, 62% had secondary infections, and 1.3% died.
