This study presents the synthesis of a reactive modifier, DOPO-tris(azetidine-2,4-dione), which enhances the thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy resins through the formation of multiple hydrogen-bonded networks. The modified epoxy resins achieved a glass transition temperature of up to 187 °C and exhibited improved flame retardancy and mechanical properties. The incorporation of this modifier demonstrates a promising approach to tailor the flexibility and performance of epoxy thermosets.
