The Water Treatment Facility Operators Certification Board requires operators applying for a C-Distribution certification to complete an approved shoring course. Previously, the board recognized three shoring courses, but effective September 1, 2003, only the AWWA shoring curriculum course or the OSHA Competent Person course will fulfill the shoring requirement for C-Distribution certification.
