Site-Specific Substitution in Magnetocaloric Materials by sghorai1994of2020 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the effects of site-specific atomic substitution in the giant magnetocaloric (GMC) compound (Fe,Mn)2(P,Si) by substituting vanadium at the tetrahedral (3f) and pyramidal (3g) metal sites. The results show a significant difference in the isothermal entropy change (up to 44%) between the two substitution sites, which is attributed to the strength of magnetoelastic coupling and the occupancy preference of vanadium. The findings suggest that optimizing site substitution can enhance the m
