DCatalyst: Accelerated Decentralized Optimization by Tianyu Cao is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is DCatalyst: Accelerated Decentralized Optimization about?

The document presents DCatalyst, a unified framework for decentralized optimization that integrates Nesterov acceleration into existing algorithms, enabling optimal communication and computational complexity. It addresses the challenges of decentralized settings by introducing inexact estimating sequences to handle consensus errors and inexact solutions. The framework is versatile and applicable to a broad range of problem classes, including those previously lacking accelerated methods.
