What is Dishwashing Reminder for Crew about?

Crew members are asked to wash their own dishes by hand or place them in the dishwasher after use instead of leaving them for others. While dish washing can be an unpleasant chore, it is a simple task that each person is capable of handling themselves to keep the kitchen clean and organized. A smiley face suggests this request is made in a friendly, non-confrontational manner.
