This one-act play takes place on Christmas Eve at an animal shelter. Four dogs - Artie, Brick, Cyril and Ali - gather to play cards and discuss their lives at the shelter. Cyril tells the story of how he was abandoned by his owners and taken in by a kind elderly woman named Miss Rosa. When Miss Rosa passed away, Cyril was heartbroken. Artie hopes that he, like Cyril, can find a loving home for Christmas.
