This study evaluated the ability of Bacillus megaterium to grow and degrade the organophosphorus pesticide glyphosate. B. megaterium was isolated from Iraqi soil and identified using morphological and biochemical tests. It showed the best growth rates between 2-60 days at glyphosate concentrations of 5 and 25 ppm.
