This study investigates the use of zinc foil and TiO2 nanoparticles in friction stir spot welding-brazing to enhance joint strength between EN10130 DC06 steel and AA6061-T6 aluminum alloy. Optimal conditions were found at a rotational speed of 900 rpm and a dwell time of 10 seconds, resulting in a significant increase in joint strength and ductility, attributed to the pinning effect of nanoparticles on grain boundaries.
