This research investigates the socio-cultural determinants affecting the knowledge and practice of exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) among women of childbearing age in selected primary health centers in Akinyele LGA, Ibadan. The study found that while a significant percentage of respondents had knowledge of EBF, actual practice was low, with only 35.3% practicing EBF for the recommended six months. Recommendations include enhancing health education on EBF to improve compliance among nursing mothers.
