About this document
Context-Based Web Indexing Techniques by International Organization of Scientific Research (IOSR) is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document proposes a context-based indexing technique using a B+ tree to improve search engine performance on the semantic web. Keywords and their contexts are extracted from crawled web documents. A thesaurus and ontology repository are used to determine multiple contexts for keywords. The keywords and contexts are indexed in a B+ tree for fast retrieval. This structure supports dynamic indexing and requires fewer I/O operations than other trees. The algorithm was tested and showed improved performance
