This study investigates the anti-wear behavior of plasma-sprayed Alumina, Zirconia, and Alumina-Zirconia coatings on Aluminium 7075T6. The results indicate that Alumina-Zirconia coatings exhibit superior wear resistance compared to individual Alumina and Zirconia coatings, with micro-hardness and surface roughness measurements supporting these findings. The research highlights the importance of coating composition and thermal spray conditions in enhancing the mechanical properties of the coatings.
