What is Thrill in the 'Ville about?
Doug Alverton's life revolves around soccer. It's no wonder his daily routine is upended when a presidential debate comes to town, complete with Secret Service agents, national news trucks, and the accompanying uproar. The results are hilarious, and before the event is over, the sixth grader must make a choice: soccer or politics. Before long, Doug is ready to cast his vote! In this romp of a story set in a small Kentucky town, an All-American boy gets a new perspective on democracy.
