Frascold has introduced a new stepless capacity control for its CX series screw compressors. This allows continuous adjustment of capacity even at high compression ratios while maintaining discharge temperatures. The control can be provided in the factory or added later with a conversion kit. It is identifiable by a groove on the compressor housing where the solenoid valves are located. The control modulates capacity through energizing and de-energizing solenoid valves according to adjustable time relays.
