Topical Calcineurin Inhibitors by Nóra Szécsi is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluates the effectiveness of topical calcineurin inhibitors (TCIs) for treating pediatric periorificial dermatitis (POD) through a retrospective review of 132 patients. Results indicate that TCIs are effective, with a complete response observed in 68.8% of patients treated with TCI alone, and adverse events were rare and mild. The findings suggest that TCIs are a well-tolerated and effective treatment option for pediatric patients with POD.
