The Erasmus Mundus Europhotonics Master is a two-year photonics program financed by the EU. It offers grants for European and non-European students to study nanophotonics, biophotonics, or photonics engineering. Students spend their first three semesters taking courses in Marseille, Karlsruhe, or Barcelona, then complete their fourth semester in a research laboratory. The program is run through partnerships between universities and research institutes in France, Germany, and Spain.
