The Vercelli Book is an Old English codex from the late 10th century containing religious texts and poems. It was found in the cathedral library of Vercelli, Italy in 1822, having likely been brought there by Anglo-Saxon pilgrims traveling to Rome. The book includes the poems Andreas, works by Cynewulf, The Dream of the Rood, and the Address of the Saved Soul to the Body.
