Erick Cunningham attended two meetings in March and April 2010 regarding cementing plans for the Macondo well. In the first meeting, foam was discussed but unfoamed cement was considered a better option. The second meeting focused on reviewing ECD modeling for a foamed cement plan. Cunningham felt the plan looked reasonable but was only consulted on modeling and not the overall cementing design. After the incident, he did not see design documents until late April and was not involved in approvals.
