He is half African-American and Iranian and first gained recognition in underground hip hop through rap battles. Locksmith has released three studio albums between 2014-2017 and several mixtapes between 2010-2016. He is also known for his collaborations with other artists such as Hopsin, Jarren Benton, and Futuristic.
