What is 毛姆文集 剧院风情 about?

(Theatre is a beloved work by Maugham in a very cheerful mood, he used the life material that he experienced in the playdom for many years—don't forget that once he was one of the most successful playwrights in British history. Julia Lambert is a diva on the British stage, she is a natural-born actress, she is jewelly and charming on the stage, but she has sunk into a dangerous passion with a young admirer off stage; what rescues her is still her infatuation for stage after suffering the torment and humiliation of passion, the painful life experience let her be quite capable of controlling the character, and her performance is better, at last she completes the redemption of passion on her own. Maugham used the addiction and redemption of Julia to combine the life, humanity, passion and art, which expressed interesting and astute.)
