About this Chemistry article
Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of N-(substituted)-N-[1,2,4,8,10,11-hexachloro-6-oxido-12H-dibenzo(d,g)(1,3,2)-dioxaphosphocin-6-yl]ureas by P. Haranath; U. Anasuyamma; P. Vasu Govardhana Reddy; C. Sureshx Reddy is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.
## Abstract Substituted dibenzo dioxaphosphocin‐6‐yl ureas were synthesized by reacting hexachlorophene (4) with different carbamidophosphoric acid dichlorides (3) in the presence of triethylamine in dry toluene at 45‐50 ^o^C. Their IR, ^1^H, ^13^C and ^31^P NMR spectral data is discussed. These compounds were found to possess good antimicrobial activity.
