Zr(C5H5)(6,6-dmch)(PMe3)2, an edge-bridged half-open zirconocene—synthesis, structure, and its reaction with C6H5C2SiMe3 by Vichien Kulsomphob; Benjamin G Harvey; Atta M Arif; Richard D Ernst is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Zr(C5H5)(6,6-dmch)(PMe3)2, an edge-bridged half-open zirconocene—synthesis, structure, and its reaction with C6H5C2SiMe3 about?

The synthesis and characterization of an edge-bridged half-open zirconocene, Zr(C 5 H 5 )(dmch)(PMe 3 ) 2 (dmch 0/dimethylcyclohexadienyl), are described. As expected, the Zr Ã/C bond distances for the dmch ligand are significantly shorter than those for the C 5 H 5 ligand. The compound readily incorporates 2 equiv. of alkyne, with loss of the PMe 3 ligands, leading to a zirconacyclopentadiene complex, so that the dmch ligand has remained intact.

Who reads Zr(C5H5)(6,6-dmch)(PMe3)2, an edge-bridged half-open zirconocene—synthesis, structure, and its reaction with C6H5C2SiMe3?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Chemistry.
