Bioceramic Scaffolds Reinforced with PCL by Justyna pawlik is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the reinforcement of bioceramic scaffolds made from b-tricalcium phosphate (b-TCP) using in situ synthesized e-polycaprolactone (e-PCL) coatings to enhance mechanical performance while maintaining pore architecture. The results demonstrate significant increases in strength and toughness of the coated scaffolds compared to bare structures, attributed to the healing of microdefects and the presence of a ductile polymeric phase. The findings suggest that this method could optimize scaff
