What is Regional Disparities in India about?
The present paper studies the regional disparities in economic and social development in India by developing a composite index, Regional Development Index (RDI). The study used census data of 2011 and Handbook of Statistics, RBI, 2018 including 27 states and four union territories (UTs) of India.
