What is Sussex Piscatorial Society Overview about?
The Sussex Piscatorial Society (SPS) is a fishing club founded in 1891 with waters in East and West Sussex and surrounding counties. Separate Coarse and Trout Sections were created in 1923. Famous author Rudyard Kipling, who wrote The Jungle Book, was a member. In 2007, SPS received recognition from the Wild Trout Trust for their conservation work on the River Itchen.
