NOTE 1 - As lubricating greases are employed under adiversity of conditions, it is not possible to specify eitherthe temperature or the duration of the test, but it isrecommended that the temperature be not higher than 20 °C below the drop point of the sample. NOTE 2 - In conformity with prevailing practice copperstrip has been described as the test metal but othermetals may be used and forms other than strips may beused. Identical with IP 112:2005.
