This study investigated the outcomes of routine histopathological examination of kidney allografts removed more than 3 months after transplantation. Of the 244 allograft nephrectomies performed, pathology reports were available for 197 grafts. Signs of rejection were reported in 163 of the 176 grafts with interpretable results.
