This study investigates the heat transfer and flow performance of a plate fin heat sink with dimples and protrusions in a horizontal rectangular channel under forced convection. Experimental results show that increasing the depth of dimples significantly enhances heat transfer, while decreasing the pitch ratio increases flow resistance. The optimal fin performance is achieved with a staggered arrangement of dimples at specific depth and pitch ratios.
