This study compared trabecular bone structure alterations in patients undergoing lateral window and transcrestal sinus lift procedures using fractal dimension analysis of panoramic radiographs. Results indicated a significant increase in fractal dimension values in the transcrestal group, while the lateral window group showed a decrease over time. The findings suggest that fractal analysis can effectively monitor bone quality following sinus augmentation procedures.
