Henry Ford was an American industrialist and founder of Ford Motor Company. He developed assembly line mass production which made automobiles affordable for the middle class. His Model T revolutionized transportation and American industry. Ford promoted high wages for workers and a five-day work week. However, he also promoted antisemitic views which influenced Nazism. As owner of Ford Motor Company, he became one of the richest people in the world and left most of his wealth to the Ford Foundation.
